SAT Preparation
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is structured for evaluating students’ readiness for college. It assesses students’ verbal and mathematical skills with test sections like Reading, Writing, Analyzing and Math.
Just like any other standardized tests, SAT requires regular practice, understanding the strategies and time management skills. Our instructors focus on getting you familiar with the test structures, using strategies, and time management.
Preparing for the SAT will also help improve students’ English reading, writing as well as your numerical knowledge.
SAT Test Structure
SAT Reading
New SAT in 2023 onward will include 4 passages:
- Classic or contemporary work of USA or world literature
- USA founding document or an inspiring conversation or speech from the world History. (One or pair passage)
- Information retrieved from Social Science, Economics, etc.
- Two passages (Pair or single) based on Earth science, Biology, Physics or Chemistry
65 minutes – 52 Multiple Choice Questions
Writing
Assess grammar and sentence formation
- 2 or 4 passages
- Finding errors and improving the context in the given passage
35 minutes – 44 Multiple Choice Questions
Math
- Calculator Section
- 55 minutes – 38 questions
- Non-Calculator Section
- 25 minutes – 20 questions
